Gotta Love Christmas!

So another Christmas has come and gone. I think that I learned a lot more this Christmas than any other Christmas. Let's just say Christmas Eve, a shovel, and an hour and a half of shoveling, gave me a lot of time to think about a lot of different things. I re-realized the amazing miracle of Christ's birth along with many other miracles in my life.
Well, this Christmas was taken over by Legos. My father has had an addiction to these little building blocks for as long as I can remember (only more proof that he is still a kid). He didn't have to try very hard to get us addicted too. For as long as I live Legos will be the coolest toys ever!!! Anyways, we have Legos coming out of our noses (ouch that would seriously hurt, some pieces are rather big....haha) and we will be building Legos for the rest of eternity.
Even though Christmas is over our pantry is still teeming with cookies, chocolates, and any other imaginable sugary, fatty piece of goodness. It's aweful. I made a pact with myself that the day after Christmas I would cut off that evil food group. I held out till about 8pm, then those cookies and especially the fudge weakened my control. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

My First Post

Well I have decided to start a blog...why I don't know. Maybe I'll do better writing on this than writing in my journal. We shall see....

Anyways, it's Christmas break and I'm sitting on the couch doing nothing but watching crime show re-runs and keeping an eye on our new puppy Cooper! He's an English Mastiff and only the coolest dog ever! As soon as I figure out how to do pictures I'll put some up. He is the laziest dog in the world. He seriously plays for about 10 minutes and then realizes he is too tired to carry on and collapses on his bean bag. Oh Cooper how I love thee....let me count the ways! Haha.

I still have Christmas shopping to do; that's the procrastinator in me. And it's the hardest gift to get; my mom's. I know what I'm getting her, I just have to get to the place to get it, which is really far from my house unfortunately. But hey, I still have two days! Plenty of time. Here's the thing, if I buy my presents too early I just want to give them to people way before Christmas. I am impatient that way. So my procratinating is justified : )

Well, I think that that is enough for my first post and like I said, hopefully I will write on this more than I write in my journal!
