So another Christmas has come and gone. I think that I learned a lot more this Christmas than any other Christmas. Let's just say Christmas Eve, a shovel, and an hour and a half of shoveling, gave me a lot of time to think about a lot of different things. I re-realized the amazing miracle of Christ's birth along with many other miracles in my life.
Well, this Christmas was taken over by Legos. My father has had an addiction to these little building blocks for as long as I can remember (only more proof that he is still a kid). He didn't have to try very hard to get us addicted too. For as long as I live Legos will be the coolest toys ever!!! Anyways, we have Legos coming out of our noses (ouch that would seriously hurt, some pieces are rather big....haha) and we will be building Legos for the rest of eternity.
Even though Christmas is over our pantry is still teeming with cookies, chocolates, and any other imaginable sugary, fatty piece of goodness. It's aweful. I made a pact with myself that the day after Christmas I would cut off that evil food group. I held out till about 8pm, then those cookies and especially the fudge weakened my control. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.
